“Pirivom Sandhippom will feature a different Cheran and a fresh Sneha”, says director Karu Pazhaniappan. Divulging details about the movie to media persons in Chennai on Monday, Pazhaniappan said, “The movie is set around a joint family. How they get estranged and come together forms the crux”. “Cheran has played his part well. He plays a TNEB engineer in the movie, who cares for his family a lot”, says Karu Pazhaniappan. “Cheran has not interfered in my work. The director Cheran was very quiet. He never interfered in my work”, adds Pazhaniappan. Music is by Vidyasagar, while art by Rajeevan and cinematography by M S Prabhu. The star cast includes Meesai Murugesh, Vittal Rao, M S Baskar, Balasingh, Devadarshini, Mahadevan among others. The movie is produced by A Subaskaran and Raju Mahalingam.


Audio Lauch:
'Pirivom Santhipom' audio is released on December 9 morning in a grand function held at Santham cinemas in Chennai. The film, featuring Cheran and Sneha is directed by Karu Pazaniyappan. The film is a Vidya Sagar musical. Vijay and Prabhu Deva released the audio. Rama Narayanan, Kalaipuli G Sekaran, Abhirami Ramanathan and Parthiban attended the function.

Shankar's ROBO - its now AJITH's turn

Shankar's Robo has been in much of speculation not only in kollywood but also in tollywood and bollywood. First the veteran director decided to make that film with Kamalhasan as hero but soon after the photo session it was heard that kamal for some reason refused to do that subject.Soon after the success of shivaji, shankar discussed the story with superstar rajinikanth but even the superstar himself not showed any interest in taking up that project. Shankar then went to chiranjeevi, he too for some reason refrained away.This time offer came to Shankar from the bollywood king sharukhan and the hero said he will do that film under his home production itself but now, he even not ready to do takeup that story. To an exclusive interview to dinamalar shankar said ultimate star ajith is ready to do that project but due to his busy schedule the film will probably start next april. Is our ajith atleast will become Robo??? ;-) lets wait and see....

Jackie Chan to launch Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam audio!!!

It can't get bigger than this. The audio of the much awaited movie Dasavatharam, touted to be the costliest movie to have ever been made in Tamil cinema, will be launched by Jackie Chan.

According to sources close to producer Oscar Ravichandran, Dasavatharam's audio would be a gala affair and would certainly find a place in the history of Indian cinema.

Jackie Chan will come all the way to grace the occasion. It may be recalled that Oscar Ravichandran had distributed several Jackie Chan movies in Tamil Nadu a few years ago. Jackie was shown a few clippings from the movie and he appreciated Kamal Haasan for giving his best in the movie. He readily agreed to be part of the audio launch.
Plans are on to invite prominent actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Mohanlal and Vishnuvardhan for the mega launch.

Dasavatharam has musical score by Bollywood's most sought-after music composer Himesh Reshammiya. The movie directed by K S Ravikumar features Kamal Haasan in ten different roles with Asin and Mallika Sherawat giving him the right company.

According to Ravikumar, "The songs have come really good. It would make an impact among the music-lovers. Himesh has come up with a good stuff".

The audio launch is expected to be launched by February, 2008.
